What song gives you the most holiday cheer?

Oh, this is such a hard question! I absolutely LOOOOVE Christmas music. I like loud jazzy Christmas music, I love some of the pop stuff. My favorite xmas albums are Nat King Cole's, Mariah Carey's and Whitney Houstons. Oh and Destiny's Chirren too.

Well, judging from my Last.fm page and my knowledge of what I played out, these are my most played albums this year:

1. Justin Timberlake  FutureSex/LoveSound
2. Raheem DeVaughn - The Love Experience (this isn't an 06 release, but I played it out in the 06)
3.  Corinne Bailey Rae
4. Donnell Jones - Journey of a Gemini
5. Gnarls Barkley

In case you didn't notice, I am pretty scarce around these parts. I think the cutseyness of vox got to me. or maybe I just got tired of keeping track of all the changes, I figured I'd just let SixApart work on the site, and then I'll come back when it's all finished. So for now, I just post private entries venting about the world, or my newest crush. I would post more here, but there's no importing or exporting system, and i don't want to invest much time into a system I'm not sure will be able to export a file for me should I want to take or backup my words.

All this to say, until i can figure out the wordpress/vox cross posting thing, my website and regular blogging can be found here.

It was only a matter of time before this place became attractive to spammers, but you woudl think that perhaps SixApart would do something more about the whole spam issue, especially when one of the biggest complaints about its Movable Type was all the comment spam.

Well, ladies and gents, i got comment spammed today here on Vox by this person. And I don't think there's much I can do about it besides delete the comments as they come. I can block the user, but it would be nice to be able to report them on the spot, just like we report offensive posts. I haven't been on vox in a few weeks, maybe there have been changes. But stuff like this rubs me the wrong way. Could we have fixed this prior to going public? Why does someone always have to ruin the public party?

What is your favorite scent?

Right now, I've got to say Sweat Pea by Bath & Body Works. Everytime I wear it random strangers, take the man who works at my neighborhood sushi place, stop and tell me how good I smell. Clearly it's my favorite scent for vanity reasons and not because it actually smells good. It does smell good though.

What is your earliest memory?

I remember climbing underneath the coffee table, in the corner of the living room, the corner closest to the door. It was my grandparent's temporary house in Tucumcari, NM. They moved there when I was about 2 or 3 years old. I remember climbing underneath the table so I could procure my red Pound Puppies lunch box.

Those were the days.
