It was only a matter of time before this place became attractive to spammers, but you woudl think that perhaps SixApart would do something more about the whole spam issue, especially when one of the biggest complaints about its Movable Type was all the comment spam.

Well, ladies and gents, i got comment spammed today here on Vox by this person. And I don't think there's much I can do about it besides delete the comments as they come. I can block the user, but it would be nice to be able to report them on the spot, just like we report offensive posts. I haven't been on vox in a few weeks, maybe there have been changes. But stuff like this rubs me the wrong way. Could we have fixed this prior to going public? Why does someone always have to ruin the public party?

For whatever reason, I have two people on my neighborhood who are marked as Family. X and Y. Ever since the beginning of time on Vox, Y never shows up as updated on my list, even though she blogs regularly in private entries to all her family members. Am I missing something? Is this normal?? Is this supposed to happen? I think I submitted this before to the feedback section, but no response.  I thought maybe the new Read function fixed it, but no, it didn't. If I go to Read > Family, I only see X's public updates and NOTHING from Y. I can't even see Y's updates on the Friends section and she's a Friend as well as Family. Can somebody get back to me on this? The Family entries and stuff are like the best feature on this thing and it sucks that it's not working to its full potential.
